AH-64D Apache Longbow Manual (Out of Service)

- Battery toggle - On

- Rotor brake - Off
- Run test 1 and 2, then turn off
- Turn on APU, wait till started up
- Start engine 1, wait till right side dash screen Ng%2 gets to 23.0
- Push throttle to engine 1 idle
- Start engine 2, wait till right side dash screen Ng%2 gets to 23,0
- Push throttle to engine 2 idle

- Wait 2 -3 minutes for start up
- Set throttle to fly
- Turn off APU
- Attach IHADSS to your visor ( Bottom right next to your seat )
- Turn on IHADSS at the video panel

- Take off

Start up:

- Gen 1, Gen 2 - On
- Batt 1, Batt 2 - On
- Fuel pump - On
- APU Cont - On ( Wait 15 seconds for star up )
- APU Gen - On
- STBY INST - On

- Engine Ignition - On
- AIR SCE - On
- FUEL SYS 1 Lever - On
- FUEL SYS 2 Lever - On
- Engine start 1 
- Engine start 2
- Eng power cont 1 - Pull down once
- Eng power cont 2 - Pull down once
- Wait for consistent rotation
- Eng power cont 1 - Pull down fully
- Eng power cont 2 - Pull down fully
- APU cont - Off
- Take off
